Week 1: Beginner pattern
 
Basic footwork: (Close-Change step - no turn)
Bent-knee step forward on heel (or backward toe-heel) 1
Stepping side on toe (up-up-up) with slight sway2 (steal time from 1 and 3)
Close and LOWER to OTHER foot flat (no sway)3

Open Impetus (Lead heel drag - backing line of dance) to PP
Lead: Left foot back onto heel turning 1/4 while right heel drags
close feet and rise to right toe turning another 1/4
continue turning shoulders to promenade position,
left foot small step lowering toe-heel.
Follow: Right foot forward on heel turning 1/4 to right
left foot side (turning aroudn partner) rising to toe
brush right foot continueing to turn to promenade
right foot small step lowering toe-heel.
